CCHMA Gives Back June 2nd Event was a shining success

Camp Nan-Ke-Rafe and Nickerson State Park was a great place to be on a sunny June afternoon last Thursday.
CCHMA members spent the afternoon re-building a dock, raking and doing yard work, cleaning cabins and the dining hall and washing the picnic tables at the Camp for Dream Day on Cape Cod.
Through Camp Nan-Ke-Rafe, Dream Day on Cape Cod serves families with children that are medically fragile or have life-threatening illnesses. By bringing families to the Cape for a week of authentic Cape Cod experiences, Dream Day on Cape Cod “brings a ray of sunshine” into their lives.

Talking Threads of Orleans made the tee shirts – great design and quality.
The “to do” list was checked off around 6 PM–all chores completed! Then it was barbecue time. Norma Jean Anderson cooked up a gourmet treat with tasty burgers, delicious salads and fabulous brownies too. What a treat!
In the true spirit of hospitality, we gave back. It was a dream day afternoon for all who participated.
